The look of an authentic antique is achieved in this superb piece that seems to reflect the patination of the ages. Its inspiration comes from a 17th century “Polonaise”, a design of Polish origin woven at a workshop of the Persian court. It presents a marvelous artist’s conception of sinuous vines that form flowing, flower-laden arabesques.
